Microsoft Case Study
Using SQL Server, Microsoft Internet Information Server, Visual Interdev, and ASP processes, designed, developed and implemented a system for the management of proficiency testing in the arena of Metrology. The thrust of this system is to manage track and analysis performance in round-robin testing of artifacts by metrology laboratories though the use of a fully functional and interactive browser based internet client. Users located anywhere can at any time enter data into a shared repository (SQL Server) and management can perform data reduction and analysis of this data. The overall project is designed to support the Metrology industry with the tools needed to comply with ISO standards and requirements as articulated by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).
